Transforming the Trent Valley

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust are seeking a Living Floodplains Officer for our ‘Transforming the Trent Valley’ Landscape Partnership Scheme.

  • 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
  • Full-time – 35 hours per week
  • £24,059.68 per annum

The post-holder will plan, manage and co-ordinate a range of heritage projects in Staffordshire and Derbyshire, which form part of the Transforming the Trent Valley (TTTV) Landscape Partnership Scheme. They will work with specialists, partners, landowners and volunteers to arrange and deliver conservation work for heritage assets and establish and deliver monitoring programmes. They will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The post-holder will provide historic environment advice to landowners in the Trent Valley and, working alongside Staffordshire County Council’s County Archaeologist and Historic England, negotiate creative solutions to improve the condition of sites and lead on (non-technical) conservation tasks.
