Family Fun Day

on the Burton Washlands

Join Transforming the Trent Valley and its partners as we celebrate some of our achievements so far on Saturday 31st July 2021 from 11am to 3pm.

Join Transforming the Trent Valley for our FREE Family Fun Day to celebrate the half way point of our scheme! Come and find us from 11am-3pm on Saturday 31st July.

Based outside the Burton Library (DE14 1AH), we'll have a range of fun activities for all ages such as Wildchild activities and guided walks, as well as Storytime led by Staffordshire Libraries.

We will also have stalls and displays about our work, including our project partners and information from the Community Grants projects we have funded through our Scheme.

We are asking families to book in advance on to the activities they want to join:

Jamie Friend, the High Sheriff of Staffordshire will also attend on the day as his tour of Staffordshire with Transforming the Trent Valley comes to an end. You can find out more about the high Sheriff's tour here. The High Sheriff is raising money for The Community Foundation for Staffordshire's High Sheriff Fund, established in 2008 to support local community and voluntary organisations in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. Please make a donation to the High Sheriff Fund via the JustGiving page.
