Hi there! I’m Kathryn, the Wildchild Officer for Transforming the Trent Valley.

Thank you for joining me for another blog post.

I found some clay and decided to mould some creatures, and use natural materials to add features. My go-to clay creation is usually the hedgehog because I can make the spines from sticks but I wanted to do something more challenging and since it is Spring I went with a Hare.

What makes it tricky is that there are slight differences between rabbits and hares:

• Size
• Black markings on ears
• Colour of fur
• Long legs

I scrambled around the garden looking for natural materials for ears, eyes, nose. Almost forgot whiskers!
